We've been taking our fur babies to Juanita Hills since we first moved to Kirkland, almost two years ago. Dr. Martin is great, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality care regarding their four-legged loved ones. Sara B., another yelper, said she requests Dr. Martin for consistency, but did see Dr. Gurm once and he was nice and knowledgeable. We had the exact experience. Actually, I'd like to just go ahead and echo Sara B's entire yelp review. I think the same about the reasonable, upfront pricing and the one "downside" with respect to new/changing faces.
My little Chihuahua is sweet but when we saw your Vet he immediately let out a air bite,so the Vet let me hold him ! She wore her stethoscope & I put it where she needed to listen! At the 3 different shelters he'd been shuffled at they always used mussels!

There is no other Vet I trust with the my pup! They are kind, professional, and always recommend the best option for my dog. My favorite thing about Juanita Hills (other than the caring and fun staff) is when they recommend treatment there is NO pressure and they print out the cost of treatment prior to you schedule. You always know what your out of pocket will be. There are no surprises!! It is great to walk in, know exactly how much it will cost, and know that you have the highest quality of care. Their hours are also great. Anyone that works long hours this is the place for you!!
Everyone at Juanita Bay Veterinary Clinic has been simply amazing! When my cat got very sick, and my husband and I didn't know what was going on, and we were dirt poor, Dr. Martin did everything she could to keep the costs down while still offering top notch care to my kitty, and she helped me to find a local emergency hospital that would do the same. At several points, we thought we were going to have to put our kitty down because of mounting costs, but Dr. Martin (who cried when I said I might have to put my cat down) helped us find a way to pay for our cat's care. After five days in the hospital Dr. Martin referred us to (the VCA Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle in Lynnwood--they were also amazing) and a number of challenges diagnosing my cat's ailment, she recovered and came back to us, good as new! I cannot praise Dr. Martin and the staff at Juanita Hills Animal Hospital enough. They saved my cat's life!
